Folks ... 25 years ago and along with the late Lieutenant Colonel Neville Wallace I helped establish a trust fund designed to assist the children and grandchildren of New Zealand Vietnam veterans to realise their dreams.   In doing do we acknowledged that for some  their father's/grandfather's service had impacted negatively on their well-being and development.

25 years on and the Trust is going strong.   We have awarded in excess of 500 bursaries worth over $250,000 covering every aspect of human endeavour with a special focus on educational attainment.  The demand continues to increase.  Currently our target cohort is estimated to number 12,349.

The trust is administered by Perpetual Guardian (the trustee).  All funds raised are credited to our capital account and invested to generate income.   That income is available for distribution as bursaries as recommended by a Board of Advisory Trustees all of whom are part of the Vietnam veteran community.

To celebrate our quarter century of work and in conjunction with the Spark Foundation we are running a 'Give-a-little' campaign to raise further funds.

Go to and please give generously.   Every dollar helps and your donation is tax deductible.   Thank you.
